What impact will you make?

As a Senior Consultant you support in setting up and executing the project administration and management of large and complex projects within Deloitte Risk Advisory. You are expected to have sharp analytical skills and a pragmatic view of things. You understand financial and administrative processes and think ahead about how things can be improved. You have strong communication skills and you are able to explain complexities in a simple way. You have an interest in systems and you quickly master them. Reporting to various stakeholders is an important part of the position. As a project finance employee you are part of the project finance team, but you are also part of the project teams that work on projects from Deloitte Risk Advisory. You will work all-around within the finance project administration.

How you will make an impact

• Collecting timesheets of project employees and verifying information
• Prepare invoices and analyze project results
• Prepare month-end closing and provide insight in differences expected vs. realized
• Review purchase and cost invoices on projects
• Prepare financial status reports
• Prepare financial forecast including the planning of resources
• Provide financial advice to increase project profitability
• Reporting and giving status updates to the project management team
• Set up and maintain project archiving system (EMS)

Minimum Qualifications

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree (in the field of Finance & Control, Business Economics or Accountancy & Controlling)

Experience & Skills

• At least 2-3 years of work experience in finance
• Experience in accounting is an advantage
• Experience in accounting programs is essential
• Experience in project administration is preferred
• Knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint is essential where data visualization to reports is expected
• You like to invest in yourself, not only in hard skills but also in soft skills
• A professional level of written and spoken English
• Writing and speaking Dutch at a professional level is an advantage
