Agentic Platforms Lead at Dis-Chem Pharmacies

Job Description

• Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for an Agentic Platforms Squad Lead, reporting into the Agentic Platforms Tribe Lead, owns the end-to-end health, delivery, and operational performance of Dis-Chem’s agentic and automation platforms.
• The role leads a cross-functional squad responsible for configuring, integrating, and operating platforms that enable automation, intelligent workflows, rules engines, and agent-driven decision support across business and IT processes.
• Working closely with Business Operations, Digital, Data, and Product stakeholders, the Squad Lead translates priorities from the Agentic Platforms Tribe roadmap into an executable backlog, ensuring reliable outcomes, controlled automation, and governed use of intelligent capabilities.
• This role ensures agentic platforms deliver measurable efficiency gains while remaining secure, explainable, and compliant with enterprise governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
• 7+ years’ experience in automation platforms, workflow systems, or enterprise applications
• Proven experience leading platform squads or cross-functional delivery teams
• Experience in regulated or governance-heavy environments preferred

Responsibilities

Platform ownership and roadmap

• Own execution of the agentic platforms roadmap within the Agentic Platforms Tribe
• Shape priorities and sequencing with the Tribe Lead and Product Owners
• Drive standardization of automation, workflow, and agent patterns
• Ensure alignment with Integration, Core Platforms, Data, and Security capabilities

Delivery and operations

• Lead the agentic platforms squad delivering configuration, integrations, and enhancements
• Ensure reliable operation of automation and agent-based workflows
• Own release planning, testing, and production support
• Proactively manage incidents and prevent repeat failures

Governance and collaboration

• Ensure agentic platform changes comply with architecture, integration standards, security, and AI governance requirements
• Coordinate closely with Integration, Data, Security, and Risk teams
• Manage agentic platform vendor delivery within tribe-level governance frameworks
• Escalate architectural, data, or risk trade-offs as required

Competencies

• Strong understanding of automation platforms, workflow orchestration, and agent-based systems
• Experience operating platforms that introduce decision automation in governed environments
• Ability to balance innovation with control, explainability, and operational stability
• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical, business, and governance teams
