Agile Delivery Manager at Kurtosys Systems

THE OPPORTUNITY:

• We are recruiting for a dynamic and passionate Agilest with Scrum Master experience to join our team of Agile Delivery Managers.
• The Senior Agile Delivery Manager will be responsible for using the appropriate methodologies to enable Product Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, Automation and other Technology teams.

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO:

• Enable teams to deliver projects and enhancements via Agile methodologies, including facilitating daily stand-ups, analysis of burndown charts, holding retrospectives, sprint reviews and sprint planning sessions, and associated reporting
• Train and guide teams on Agile processes and embody its principles
• Work with teams to ensure they have valuable user stories and a groomed backlog;
• Ensure teams can effectively document, organize, schedule, and deliver on their work, including dependency management and a clear definition of done

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, practices and techniques, and the ability to apply the appropriate framework based on teams and types of work
• Understanding of technical issues as related to Project deliverables, including general SDLC experience and identification/management of cross-team dependencies
• Familiarity with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools with the ability to create and manage project settings, analyse sprint data and create meaningful reports on velocity, capacity, burn-down and other appropriate metrics
• Jira administration experience would be advantageous.

THE NON NEGOTIABLES:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of scrum master experience, ideally in a full time scrum master role and supporting multiple teams
• Experience supporting remote / hybrid teams
• Exposure to other methodologies apart from scrum, e.g. Kanban is desirable
• Certification such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSP (Certified Scrum Practitioner), SAFE Agilest is desirable
• Experience in the financial services industry or the FinTech space is a plus, ideally within Asset Management
