Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified Dangerous Goods Truck Driver to safely transport hazardous materials across designated routes.
• This role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry regulations while delivering goods in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate trucks equipped for transporting dangerous goods, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Ensure the correct loading and unloading of hazardous materials, verifying that all materials are handled safely.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure operational safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to hazardous materials transport, including manifests and compliance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to ensure timelines are met and any issues are addressed promptly.
• Participate in training and safety meetings to stay informed about best practices and regulatory changes.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or equipment issues to management immediately, ensuring adherence to company policies.

Requirements

• Avsec (aviation security) level 3 certification.
• IVS permit to gain access to all freight areas on the airport.
• Must be a south African citizen
• Must have a clear criminal record.
