By mining scale datasets, we match drugs and devices to patients and providers, enabling manufacturers to optimise their data-driven sales and marketing initiatives.

The Role

This is a technical analytics role with direct accountability for the delivery of multiple projects for Quantrium Health.

You will collaborate closely with other analysts and consultants on projects (across the Quantium Health client portfolio) to transform client questions and issues into analytical solutions, with a focus on building analytical innovation, driving automation and productionisation.

As an Analyst, some things you may be involved in include: 

• Delivering high quality analytics, from scoping, data quality assessment, data manipulation, method selection, insights generation and visualisation

• Partnering with consultants to ensure projects are delivered successfully and ROI is maximised for clients

• Clear presentation of insights via PowerPoint presentations, self-service analytical visualisation tools and face-to-face client meetings

• Client management and interaction as required e.g. working on site with clients, liaising with stakeholders to determine project brief objectives / scope, ongoing interaction on project progress and delivering relevant recommendations or solutions

• Proactively participate in learning forums and sharing knowledge with wider team

• Support with business development and thought leadership for Quantium Health clients

What skills do I need?

• Coding experience in at least one of SQL / Python / R 

• Approximately 2+ years’ experience in a highly technical analytics environment

• Ideally, we are seeking experience in working with large complex datasets and solving commercial business problems

• Well-developed commercial acumen to understand business needs and be able suggest the commercial impacts of different analytics solutions or approaches

• Knowledge of technical analytics disciplines e.g. predictive modelling and / or machine learning techniques (e.g. GLM, GBM, clustering techniques etc)

• Comfortable presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences

• Innovative and creative mindset with a desire to automate solutions

Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, mathematics, actuarial studies, biostats, statistics, physics, or a related discipline

• Practical knowledge of data analysis, including data preparation and foundational analytics concepts

• Experience with successfully engaging internal and external stakeholders towards delivering an analytical answer

• Coding and modelling experience in SQL / R / Python / SAS and / or other relevant data analysis tools

• Experience working with large, complex datasets

• Flexibility to travel insterstate for projects
