Key tasks
Enterprise Risk Management Implementation
- Assist the Enterprise Risk Management in facilitating on-going enterprise-wide risk assessments and mitigation of risks and ownership in all Business Units
- and MTN subsidiaries, in line with the Group ERM Framework. This involves scheduling workshops, meeting, presentations etc. with Senior Management
- Ensure that risk management is applied according to the Combine Assurance framework
- Ensure that risk management system (tool) is implemented and fully utilised to automate the risk management process within MTN SA
- Ensure that risk management tool is maintained and in line with MTN Group Framework
- Ensure ongoing risk identification, assessment and reporting of risks
- Implementation of procedures and processes for Crises Prevention and Management
- Monitor the application of procedures and processes for Crises prevention and Management in MTN SA and suggest appropriate action to mitigate the risks
- Monitor adherence to the defined Project Risk Management framework and ensure appropriate escalation to the relevant parties
- Monitor the status of insurance recommendations and report on status
Perform regular reviews of the risk processes followed by MTN and its subsidiaries and report on progress
- Give input in assessing the current and potential risks to the organisation
- Monitor and report on exposures
Reporting
- Compile statistical and other reports required within the ERM environment
- Coordinate the monthly Risk Working Group meetings and ensure and ensure adherence to ERM framework
Training and Support
- Liaise constantly with Senior Managers on various risk matters especially tracking ownership and mitigation of risk items identified
- Assist with training Risk Champions on the use of CURA software, and liaise with them on an on-going basis regarding the Enterprise Risk Management
Customer Service
- Provide support and assistance to stakeholders when required
- Seek feedback from clients/ stakeholders and continuously seeks ways of improving on quality and customer service standards
- Put contingency plans in place to prevent delays and enhance the customer experience
- Adopt a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising in the future
- Initiate change to continually improve all aspects of service delivery
- Ensure all customer queries are attended to and resolved

Minimum RequirementsEducation:
- 3 year Degree / Diploma in Internal Auditing / Risk Management or related
- Global Experience Standards (5)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a area of specialisation; with experience in supervising others
