APDP Consultant at KPMG South Africa

Description of the role and purpose of the job:

The purpose of this role is to perform reasonable assurance engagements of production rebate certificates (PRC's), Standard Material Declarations (SMDs) and certificates of foreign currency usage (Form C2) and agreed upon procedures on Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS), in terms of the Automotive Production Development Programme (APDP).

Key responsibilities:

• Auditing of PRCs, Form C2s, SMDs and AIS
• Dealing with clients and consultants
• Preparation of audit files

Skills and attributes required for the role:

• Advanced knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Word.
• Team Player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels
• Knowledge of the APDP regulations will be an advantage

Minimum requirements to apply for the role (including qualifications and experience):

• Degree or Diploma (BCom Accounting preferable)
