Role Responsibilities:

• Translating customer requirements into software specifications.
• Providing technical leadership and accountability for implementing a major product or subsystem.
• Ensuring technical viability of solutions as defined in the Statement of Work and subsequent change requests, identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Creating / validating work estimates and skills required.
• Managing technical customer interactions from kick off through UAT.
• Guiding customers through the requirements gathering, designing and documentation process within a specific domain area while fitting within the OSS/BSS infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

Relevant Skills / Experience:

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Senior design experience in Unix and database applications.
• Telecommunications industry experience and related product knowledge.
• Experience with one or more billing products and implementation steps.
• Experience with business technology, telecom networks, and data structures.
• Design skills with the ability to document the designs.
