Required outputs: Functional

•  Inspect, service and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Hydraulic, mechanical and instrumentation faultfinding and problem solving on equipment.
• Record keeping.
• Conform to Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Conform to Enaex and client SHERQ systems.
• Daily liaison with client and or Operations personnel regarding equipment.
• Report to stakeholders on breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
• Spares stock management, ordering and distribution.
• Carry out basic administrative duties.
• Testing of all safety features and mechanisms.
• Root cause failure analysis reports.
• Continuous improvement on equipment availability. 

General:

• Must be prepared to work underground.
• Must be prepared to work shifts if necessary.
• Must be prepared to do standby.
• Must have own transport.
• Actively participate as a team member on site.
• Safety conscious and practice good housekeeping.
• Conform to Enaex values.
• Strong communication and organizing skills.
• Must be able to work unsupervised and independently. 

Requirements

Minimum Requirements and Experience:

• Grade 12 / N3 with Math and Science.
• Trade Tested Millwright / Electro Mechanician.
• Code EB or C drivers license.
• Experience in the mining environment.
• Medically fit for underground work.
• Experience on explosives manufacturing equipment (wish).
