• Checking that the table is correctly set up
• Receiving timber to the table; ensuring timber is of the correct grade and ensuring timber is placed correctly on the table
• Receiving connector plates to the table; ensuring the connector plates are the correct size
• Marking the size and height of truss required on the timber
• Setting the jig accurately
• Placing the first truss on the table
• Ensuring components fit correctly
• Placing connector plates at each joint
• Pushing truss along rollers for plates to be pressed in place
• Ensuring trusses are uniformed
• Notifying Foreman when job completed
• Sweeping and cleaning of table area
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures
• To uphold and promote the company values and culture

Requirements

• Grade 12
• 2 years' experience in a relevant environment
