Asset Care Engineer at Minopex

• The Asset Care Engineer will provide On Key support to the respective operational sites. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and tactics for the management of assets. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and optimising the life cycle of the organisation’s assets ensuring their reliability, efficiency and longevity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Minopex/Client Company Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Health and Safety responsibilities, policies, procedures, and programs.
• CMMS (OnKey) support to the various sites.
• Development of asset care tactics and strategies.
• Data analytics and defect elimination
• Ensure a working knowledge of and comply with legislative and operational requirements.
• Under the appropriate guidance of the Project Managers or assigned team leaders execute relevant designated tasks
• Collaborate with team members, project leaders and internal and external stakeholders to effectively meet task/project requirements and deadlines to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and or Client.
• Ensure all opportunities and risks alike are identified and communicated in time to relevant leadership team or Project Manager to improve project delivery, standards used etc.
• Take ownership of their own development, through initiative and identification of opportunities to broaden skill set.
• A self-starter who is results and action orientated, and who displays a positive and energetic attitude

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or Advance Diploma in Engineering

Experience and Skills Requirements

•  3 - 5 years relevant Mining and or Processing experience
•  On Key experience would be advantageous
• Computer literate in MS Office, with a demonstrated proficiency in the use of Word, Power Point, Excel and Project Management Software
• Knowledge and experience in Project Management/Coordination,Plant Optimisation, Commissioning, Asset Care, Reliability Engineering etc. would be advantageous.
• Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies, and/or operations and process improvement initiatives would be an advantage.
• Experience in data analysis and analytics would be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in Risk, Health, Safety and Environmental Management as relevant to Mining and or Processing Operations
• Ability to effectively communicate and engage team members, clients and project stakeholders.
• English Language Proficiency
• Willingness and ability to travel and work with clients based in different time zones
• Valid Driver’s License
