Our client is based in the Johannesburg CBD! This private fund and asset management company provides a variety of solutions and property management services for predominantly residential buildings. With a growing portfolio and entrepreneurial leadership, they rejuvenate existing buildings upgrading them into highly sought-after residential spaces.

With the vision to become a leading developer of affordable housing, this company has already provided over 8000 individuals with a place that they can call home. To ensure that their tenants' best interest is at heart, this dynamic company also carries out all the management of their properties internally from cleaning and security right through to property and asset management.

They are currently looking for a Residential Asset Manager to join their dynamic team and look after a portfolio of about 6000 units throughout the Johannesburg CBD. This position will see you primarily responsible for ensuring the effective optimization of the portfolio through various strategies that promote tenant retention, pricing strategies, and acquisitions and disposals. Furthermore, you will be required to engage daily with property, leasing, and financial managers to ensure any issues raised are resolved swiftly.

To be a suitable applicant you will need to have a Property or Finance related degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role looking after residential assets. This position would best suit an ambitious, commercially minded, and pro-active individual with a strong understanding of the financials associated with real estate assets.
