Assistant Accountant (Finance) – Durban at Affirmative Portfolios

Job Purpose: 

• To provide a full creditors function for the company and assist in the preparation and reconciliation of financial reports.  

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•  Degree (NQF 7) / Diploma (NQF6) in Financial Management or Relevant qualification
•  2 years relevant experience

SUMMARY DUTIES:
REPORTS TO: FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

•  To provide a full creditors function for the KZNFC accounting system in compliance with generally recognized accounting principles, PFMA and Treasury regulations.
•  To provide accurate information for the preparation of the organization’s financial reports
•  To prepare accurate and up to date financial accounting reports for the organization for the production of accurate financial statements.
•  Petty-cash Management.
•  To perform ad hoc activities as determined by the organization
