Assistant: Accountant at Mediclinic

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To ensure that financial transactions are recorded correctly in order for accurate and complete financial report compilation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Assist with accounting transactions
• Attend to account administration
• Attend to financial control tasks and activities
• Extract and distribute monthly finance reports
• Required Education
• Essential: Financial Diploma
• Desired: B.Com degree (with Accounting)

Required Experience3 years experience in a financial environment

Required Job Skills And Knowledge

• Accounting transactions and the ability to apply these principles
• Financial management and budgeting principles
• Knowledge of financial statements and statistics
• Knowledge of VAT
• Computer literate (Microsoft office – Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of SAP Financial System
