    Assistant Brand Manager

    Assistant Brand Manager

    A fantastic opportunity is available for an Assistant Brand Manager (Health) to join RB's Marketing team.

    This role is responsible to support the Senior Brand Manager for marketing a brand/ group of brands in the market and country projects. You will be driving product and brand management and activation of brands including: NPD and consumer & shopper communication and full brand communication process.

    As an integral member of an experienced and dynamic Marketing team, you manage artwork and creative material approvals, P&L; and budget and purchase requisitions. As ABM you will be required to work closely with the internal stakeholders on consumer and trade activation as well as media planning and consumer research. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure brand/ category objectives are met and accomplish goals and objectives of the team and business.
     

    Qualifications:

    • Strong sense of urgency and achievement.
    • Highly resilient and able to perform under pressure
    • Action- orientated and focused problem-solving initiative.
    • Independent with the ability to take initiative and ownership.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Good interpersonal skills and relationship management with various stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills and understanding of P&L; and financial statements.
    • Proven successful FMCG marketing experience of at least 2-4 years.
    • Proven experience and understanding of: Brand Management & Brand communication (ATL & BTL), New Product Launch, Line Extension & Innovation, Market/Competitor Research (AC Nielsen), Consumer & Trade Activation. Consumer research.
    • Educated to minimum Bachelors degree in Business Commerce, preferred Marketing and RSA citizen.
