    Assistant Control Room Operator

    Description

    • To assist the Control Room Operator in general duties
    • Adherence to safe work procedures and compliance with company standards
    • Continuously monitor the SCADA system for deviations
    • Assisting the Control Room Operator in answering and recording phone calls
    • Assisting the Control Room Operator in communicating with engineering personnel on the radio system

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 Certificate.
    • Computer literate (Microsoft Office Package)
    • Scada Operation experience will be advantageous
    • Experience in the Mining environment will be advantageous
    • Ability to read and write in English.
    • Communicate with people on different levels.
    • Valid Certificate of fitness
    • Driver’s license
