An NQF 6 qualification in Local Economic Development / Development Studies / Business Management / Integrated Organisational Communication or equivalent as recognized by SAQA. Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the Enterprise Development field at supervisory level. Valid driver’s license (with exception of persons with disability)
DUTIES :
Coordinate the development of Enterprise development policies and strategies. Monitor and evaluate the programmes implemented by sector departments, municipalities and entities for MSME’s. Develop and coordinate marketing programmes for MSME’s. Coordinate initiatives to reduce red tape and ease the doing business environment for MSME’s to thrive. Facilitate the LED programme through collaborative partnerships. Monitor the implementation of the LED policy framework to strengthen the implementation of Local Economic Development programmes.
