National Diploma/ Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Development Economics, Public Administration (NQF Level 6/ 7 as recognized by SAQA). 3-5 years’ experience in Economic Research Environment
Duties :
Design and plan research projects and data collection methods. Liaise with and consult relevant stakeholders to source relevant data and obtain buy-in during economic research formulation. Perform the analysis of data collected and produce economic research reports for the Department. Design and plan economic models and data collection methods.
Implement developed economic models to aid decision making. Liaise and consult with relevant stakeholders with respect to sourcing relevant data for modelling exercises. Interpret modelling outcomes and provide a narrative for reporting purposes. Develop knowledge management system.
Manage the integration of data, information and knowledge requirements. Contribute to the project team driving improvements and enhancements. Liase with relevant data custodians.
