administer the National Land Transport Act (Act No. 5 of 2009); administer the Road Transportation Act (Act No. 74 of 1977); administer the Western Cape Road Transportation Amendment Law Act (Act No. 8 of 1996); administer the National Land Transport Regulations, 2009; manage financial processes in accordance with the Public Finance Management Act, 1999, National Treasury Regulations, Provincial Treasury Instructions and other applicable financial policies, prescripts, directives and collective agreements; operate and manage the Public Transport Regulation System (PTRS) and LTPS/NTIS; process applications for operating licences; manage the functions, activities, processes and procedures of a Walk-In-Centre; manage financial management,
monitoring and reporting procedures, systems and reports of the Directorate; develop, implement, monitor and review policies and operational processes; manage public service procedures, processes and systems; understand Constitutional, legal and institutional arrangements governing the South African public sector; manage public finance, human resources and related administrative processes; understand the functioning of the Province and the activities of sister departments and related functional areas; implement and support the policies of the government of the day; manage Labour Relations legislation and regulations; manage performance management processes;
