Job Purpose
The purpose of this Job is to assist Export Controllers, Supervisors and Manager with all shipping related tasks in order to maintain OTIFNE - On time in full no errors for all shipments and tasks allocated. 

Qualifications & Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12/ Matric 

EXPERIANCE: 

• At least 2 years experience in shipping with export experience preferrably in Seafreight                                
• Road freight experience an advantage.                              

Key Responsibilities

• Typing CTO's ( order to cash - Transnet)                                
• Typing of EUR.1 Certificates, GSP Form A, Certificate of Origin, SADC certificates (Preparation of Country Required Certificates. 
• Typing bill of lading, shipping instructions (on MS Word, MS Excel, and WEB)(E-mail  or submit online the above documents to the various shipping lines)            
• Checking of Bills of Lading and Specifications and printing of these documents.        
• Processing of Cargo Dues                                
• Assist the Client Controller with claims (Manifest correctors, cargo dues) and/or queries in relation to shipment files handled.
• Will be required to take on Adhoc shipments which will include adhering to Export shipment process requirements. (handling a shipment from start to finish)                     
• Tracking of Export shipments            

Skills & Competencies
KNOWLEDGE: 

•  Knowledge of export procedures (hazardous and general cargo)
•  Cargowise and OTC (order to cash - Transnet)
•  Knowledge of Export Cargo handling and required documentation for hazardous and non-hazardous carg.
•  Geographical Knowledge

SKILLS:

•  General computer literacy
•  Attention to details
•  Ability to meet deadlines
•  Fluent in English command- writing, reading and speaking
