Assistant Financial Analyst - Western Cape at Flash Group

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Financial Analysis: Financial analysis to provide fresh insights, contributing towards potential growth, optimisation, risk identification or cost saving methods.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist the FA and SFA with preparing budgets and forecasts for the Divisions.
• Innovation & maintenance of relevant Power BI dashboards.
• Provide general financial, data and reporting support to the wider team (KAMs, Sales teams, Management).
• Understanding of Flash products, the commercials, and how to structure these commercials when selling them to partners.
• Reconciliations and resulting remediation.
• Build and assist with business, financial, and commercial models.
• Determination of the financial KPIs for marketing campaigns.
• Analyzing current and past financial data and performance.
• Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
• Conduct data analysis to drive decision making and identify key challenges and opportunities.
• Analysis of the operational and financial metrics with detailed action plan.
• Coordinating with other teams to review financial information and forecasts.
• Assist in preparation of monthly reporting packs.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate with a commerce degree (BCom) Accounting
• Minimum 1 – 2 years’ experience
• Management Accounting, Financial or Commercial experience
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
