Main Objectives
- To assist and support the Head of Sport in driving and executing sport at Rhodes University.
- Responsible for providing support to the Head of Sport as well as managing the day-to-day operations within the department.
The Requirements

A relevant NQF Level 7 qualification plus 6 years’ relevant working experience where such experience includes: -
- At least 2 to 4 years’ relevant working experience within an education/service-orientated environment in sport and a high level of interaction with students
- Previous supervision/management experience
- Experience in administering & organising sport at club/tertiary and/or provincial and/or national level
- Previous experience in playing sport and/or a demonstrated ongoing interest in sport
- Previous experience in organising sporting events/ tournaments
- Basic computer literacy; word-processing, spreadsheets, email and internet
- Driver’s License Code: EB or code 8
