Assistant Production Supervisor at RCL Foods

Job Description    
The Chicken Business is currently recruiting for an Assistant Production Supervisor to be based in Limpopo (Vaalwater) and report to the Production Manager. The role will be responsible to drive shift asset productivity through agreed KPIs and efficiencies, Co-ordinate shift production program with other functional areas to ensure optimal production and loading of trucks, ensures shift team accurately and in the agreed time frame, record all relevant production information, ensure within shift that all the positions are manned according to the skills and knowledge required for operating or performing the described work effectively, supports maintenance trough coordinating brake down time and recording down time, To ensure Management of Safety Health Risk and quality,Leadership and financial Management.

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric (Grade 12)
• 1-2 years Manufacturing Experience

Duties & Responsibilities    
Loading of trucks

• To ensure orders are loaded as accurate and complete as possible.
• To ensure delivery books are completed correctly with the correct information according to order.
• Check the weighbridge weight against check weight according to order. No delivery with a variance more than 100 kg allowed to leave premises.
• The load is spread accurately over the whole load in order to avoid overloading on axles.
• To ensure the load is secured and tarps are tightened (on our own trucks) support contractors only to cover tarp and a few straps to secure load not to shift on the way to weigh bridge.
• To take the necessary steps during rain to ensure that load beds of the trucks and tarps are dry before loading commence.

Production.

• To control packaging and labels during shift.
• To assist shift supervisor to obtain optimal production targets set by operational manager.
• To ensure production documentation and records are completed and returned to production office before end of shift.

Weighbridge.

• To ensure that all raw material received are correctly weight and documentation recorded in raw material register.
• All weighbridge documents attached to relevant orders.
• Stock movement register updated before shift end.

Goods return.

• To ensure returned goods are offloaded and checked in the designated area.
• To ensure returned goods documentation together with weigh bridge document are handed in at production office.
• Ensure all Driehoek and STP trucks have a return goods book inside before it leaves.

Stock control.

• Assist with daily stocktaking.
• Update daily stock movement sheet
