    Job Description    
    RCL FOODS is seeking a Millwright to join our Groceries Division. The role will be based in Krugersdorp and report to the Engneering Manager. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to ensure that all manufacturing equipment is serviced and maintained according to specifications and are in line with good engineering practices. As well as to, ensure safe and proper mechanical functioning of production equipment and a continuous run of machinery with minimal downtime.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Qualified Trade tested Millwright

    • The load is spread accurately over the whole load in order to avoid overloading on axles.
    • To ensure the load is secured and tarps are tightened (on our own trucks) support contractors only to cover tarp and a few straps to secure load not to shift on the way to weigh bridge.
    • To take the necessary steps during rain to ensure that load beds of the trucks and tarps are dry before loading commence.

    Production.

    • To control packaging and labels during shift.
    • To assist shift supervisor to obtain optimal production targets set by operational manager.
    • To ensure production documentation and records are completed and returned to production office before end of shift.

    Weighbridge.

    • To ensure that all raw material received are correctly weight and documentation recorded in raw material register.
    • All weighbridge documents attached to relevant orders.
    • Stock movement register updated before shift end.

    Goods return.

    • To ensure returned goods are offloaded and checked in the designated area.
    • To ensure returned goods documentation together with weigh bridge document are handed in at production office.
    • Ensure all Driehoek and STP trucks have a return goods book inside before it leaves.

    Stock control.
