We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the daily operations of our warehouse facility in Springfield, Durban. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient warehouse processes, maintaining inventory accuracy, and managing staff and fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including picking, checking, dispatching, and receiving of goods
Ensure accurate inventory control and stock management at all times
Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
Manage and monitor dispatch processes to ensure timely delivery of goods
Oversee vehicle fleet operations, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance
Maintain accurate administrative records and reporting related to warehouse activities
Implement and enforce health and safety standards within the warehouse
Assist in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate (required)
Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a warehouse environment
