Responsibilities:

Sample Receipt

• Perform sample receipt and inspection independently
• Registration on the LIMS system
• Filing

Technical Improvements

• Improve laboratory efficiency

Adherence to Turn Around Times

• Ensuring adherence to departmental TAT’s
• Early warnings to direct supervisor of any delay on TAT

OHS and Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with OHS and Quality Assurance Policies and Procedures
• Implementation of quality TAT corrective actions for area of responsibility

Cost Management

• Ensure jobs are registered correctly

Financial responsibilities 

• Jobs registered correctly

Personal Training and development 

• Identify training needs as required

Client Liaison

• Ensure good working relationships with internal and external clients

General and Business Support

• Undertake all activities as per the required standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of AssureCloud’ s Quality System
• System, brand, methodology and contribute to the development thereof when required
• Adhere to the delegation of authority as per company policy
• Timely completion of all reporting requirements and responses to any team member as required
• Ensure all expenses are recorded and reported accurately and timeously and within budget
• Ensure all IT tools provided by the company are utilised effectively and as required by company policy and procedure
• Ensure effectiveness in day-to-day operations, in an organised and coordinated fashion at all times. Ensure that all company standards and policies are met

• Work collaboratively as part of AssureCloud. This requires the incumbent to be decisive and thought provoking, while also accepting collective responsibility for decisions taken

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Matric NSC/Grade 12

Experience:

• 2 - 3 years of relevant micro/chemistry laboratory experience
