Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Research and identify potential clients and develop strategies to approach and secure new business.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our products/services.
Research and Identify Leads: Analyze target markets and identify potential clients that align with the company’s services
Outreach Strategies: Use cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking to initiate contact with prospects.
Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads to ensure consistent sales opportunities.
Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and threats.
Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to management.
Coordination: Work with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and customer services.
Industry Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Client information Accuracy: Ensuring all client records are accurate and uploaded into CRM.

Requirements
Tertiary qualification in microbiology, biotechnology, food technology or environmental health.
Previous experience selling food safety training (advantageous).
3 to 5 years' experience in a sales position.
Own reliable transport.
Willing to travel.
Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
