ATM Director
G4S Cash Solutions has a vacancy for an ATM Director based in Centurion.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the ATM Director is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely strategy and management of the ATM operations in line with company policies and procedures.
The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which senior management plays within a successful business unit. Role Responsibility
Main Purpose of Position:
- To develop, implement and direct a world class ATM infrastructure, to support custodianship, first and second line maintenance with relation to information- and operations technology strategy for the organisation and direct internal and external relationships with suppliers, industry and regulatory bodies
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and manage ATM Infrastructure strategy, policy and delivery for South Africa with an international applicability
- Determine and develop ATM Infrastructure strategy for the country ensuring that the strategy is aligned to the Organization’s strategic intent
- Define ATM Infrastructure Policy and ensure that policy is aligned to Country, Regional and Group IT, CIT and Cash Processing strategy
- Analyze and identify key business challenges and identify and deploy ATM infrastructure interventions where appropriate
- Oversee and manage the ATM Infrastructure Compliance of the Country
Manage the development and maintenance of ATM operational infrastructure within the organisation
- Ensure the development and implementation of physical infrastructure to support operations
- Where needed, direct intervention and assistance with national infrastructure needs
- Collaborate with the activities of national Cash Centers, CIT, Cash Processing and ATM infrastructure teams to ensure the achievement of strategic goals and targets
- Formulate and implement processes to identify solutions for non-performing devices
- Analyse and formulate better control measures to eliminate losses in the ATM environment

Development and maintenance of sound relationships both within the organisation and with external parties
- Liaise with and participate in client engagements ensuring proper briefing and upholding company policies and strategies
- Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, external stakeholders and other technology role players
- Provide advice on all ATM issues to the Executive Teams
- Manage change process and stakeholder expectations
- Contribute towards pricing – and SLA revisions and negotiations
Liaising with end product users and training stakeholders to enhance implementation
- Provide support, coaching (train) and mentoring continuously to ensure that objectives are met
- Contribute towards the strategic allocation of resources to ensure operational demands are met
- Contribute towards proper succession planning through skills transfer, in order to meet ongoing and anticipated business requirements

- Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the departmental safety plans for each year.

The Ideal Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Com degree / B.Sc Degree / B.Eng degree
- 10+ Years’ experience (last 5 years at a Snr Management Level).
- Experience of Banking and Cash Processing industry and related technology
- Experience with ATM technology, including recycling capability, reconciliations and applications
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
- A high level of commitment, motivation and initiative.

- In depth knowledge of all the relevant related legislative Acts, including, but not limited to BCEA, EEA, LRA, SDA, Banks Act.
- Knowledge of ATM design, technology, evaluation and implementation processes
