    Attendant Blasting; B Lower

    The duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Barricade blasting area as instructed by the surface miner, before charging up.
    • Measure pre-drilled holes & place accessories into the holes,
    • Close blasting area to specified radius as instructed by the surface miner.

    You will need:

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics 
    • In depth knowledge of the Safety rules and regulations
    • Valid Code B driver’s license is essential
    • Valid Medical fitness certificate
    • Candidates will need to undergo and pass a Dover assessment to be considered for the position

    Advantageous:

    • Experience in the Coal mining industry
