    Attendant Pumps; B Lower

    The role:

    To provide general assistance to ensure safe and cost-effective mining.

    The duties will include but are not limited to:

    • Remove and installation of Pumps at water bodies
    • Move pumps on pump trolley to different areas
    • Install water columns down the ramp and inpit
    • Reclaim water columns during section moves
    • Send out damaged pump for repairs
    • Report any defects, damages and non-conformance to the control room
    • Conduct mini risk assessment of working area
    • Monitor water bodies
    • Install demarcation at water bodies (sign boards)

    You will need:

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics
    • In depth knowledge of the Safety rules and regulations
    • Valid Code B driver’s license is essential
    • Valid Medical fitness certificate

    Advantageous:

    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a mining environment
