A close-knit family within Silver Lakes Estate is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and proactive individual to care for their two children, ages 3 and 8. They are looking for someone who will not only assist with daily routines but also become a part of their family dynamic, joining them on vacations and sharing in everyday moments. This is a wonderful opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping to nurture the children’s well-being and development.
The role includes managing school drop-offs and pick-ups, transporting the children to activities, assisting with snack time, and planning fun, educational activities that encourage growth and happiness.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and roadworthy car
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
First Aid Level Certificate (essential)
Non-smoker
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pick up and drop off children for school
Transport children to extracurricular activities
Prepare and assist with snack time after school
Provide opportunities for physical activity, such as games and exercises to improve coordination and motor skills
Plan and organize age-appropriate, creative activities (such as arts and crafts, puzzles, storytelling, and learning games) that are both fun and educational
Provide full-day care during school holidays (when needed)
