Au Pair | Hurlingham Manor at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties:

• Collect from school, take to extra-murals, run general family errands, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities, bathing the children, prepare meals for the children, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement).
• Candidate will be responsible for being involved with the boys in swimming, riding bikes, kicking soccer and rugby balls, playing tennis - a lot of outdoor activities but also incorporating the softer indoor activities such as drawing, puzzles and painting.

Requirements:

•  Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and generally just happy with life, someone who is going to be nurturing, encouraging and a confidence builder.
• Preferably someone studying either OT or BEd and who has had previous experience with children.
• It is imperative that they understand children and their temperaments and can handle the kids when they are at times difficult.
• Someone that is an extension of their family, and someone who will carry through what they instil in their children whilst in the candidates cares.
• Start Date and contract term: January 2024 start – permanent contract
• Salary: R10 000 – R12 000 per month plus SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

•  Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
