Au Pair | Hyde Park | R13 500 - R14 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Hyde Park
• Children’s Ages: 3, 8 and 12 years old
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 06:30 – 08:00 & 13:00 – 17:00
• School holiday hours: Same number of hours required with flexibility required if possible
• Duties: Collect the children from school and transport them to and from any extra-mural activities, appointments, or lessons. Assist with and supervise homework, ensuring that all schoolwork is completed to a high standard and that academic responsibilities are kept up to date. Prepare healthy snacks or light meals, engage the children in age-appropriate educational activities, games, and constructive play, and ensure that school bags, uniforms, and any required items are organised and prepared for the following day. The au pair will be responsible for helping the children stay on track with their school commitments, homework, projects, and sporting or extra-mural activities, while providing ongoing support, structure, and encouragement. Willing to travel with the family both locally and internationally when required (all travel expenses will be covered by the family)
• Special Requirements: Aged 21 – 30 years old, any tertiary education is a huge advantage, familiar with a 3 term school schedule. Someone with a passport or willing to obtain one.
• Start Date and contract term:  ASAP – permanent
• Salary: R13 500 – R14 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
