Au Pair | Meyersdal | R16 000 - R18 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Meyersdal
• Child’s Age: Girl – 4 years
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 17:00
• Live in or Live out: Live out for now, but may be phased into a Live In position
• Duties: Taking the child to and from school and extra-mural activities, planning fun, educational and age-appropriate activities, encouraging learning, independence and positive behaviour, preparing healthy meals and snacks, assisting with bath time and daily routines, keeping the child's bedroom, toys and play areas neat and organised, managing the child's laundry and wardrobe, babysitting and occasional weekend work by arrangement, travelling with the family when required (valid passport essential), running occasional family errands and assisting with general household organisation.
• Special Requirements: Female, under 35 years, min 3 years' childcare experience, ECD/Education or similar qualification preferred, genuine love for working with children, takes initiative and requires minimal supervision, emotionally mature, comfortable spending time outdoors and participating in active play, confident with driving, comfortable around dogs and cats, willing to assist with basic pet care if required, fluent in English, Afrikaans preferred, Shangaan/Tsonga speaking would be an advantage, non-smoker
• Start Date and contract term: July/August – permanent
• Salary: R16 000 – R18 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
