Au Pair | Oranjezicht | R10 500 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Oranjezicht, Cape Town
• Children’s Ages: Girls – 5 and 9 years
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:30 – 17:30 (School collections, extramural activities and the family’s schedule may vary from day to day. While these are the general working hours, occasional earlier starts, later finishes or additional hours may be required by prior arrangement and paid additionally)
• School holiday hours: Same/similar hours to above
• Duties: Collect the children from school Monday to Friday, safely transport them to and from extramural activities, prepare healthy afternoon snacks and light meals for the children, assist with homework and school projects, plan engaging, age-appropriate activities at home and organise playdates where appropriate, occasional evening babysitting, light household duties relating to the children, including tidying play areas, unpacking school bags, basic children’s laundry and meal preparation for the children, running occasional errands while kids are at school (in the mornings) which will be paid for additionally
• Special Requirements: Female, 21+, experience with the age groups, excellent references, responsible, organised, proactive and nurturing, non-smoker, own reliable car and clear driving record
• Start Date and contract term: September 2026 – permanent
• Salary: R10 500 per month (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
