Au Pair | Parklands North at Au Pair Extraordinaire

Duties: 

• Babysitting: ONE Friday or Saturday night per month: 17h00 – sleep over required.
• School holidays: The kids go to holiday care so nothing extra just maybe fetching earlier two days a week, so an extra 3 hours per week
• Getting ready and dropping at school three mornings per week, collecting from school and transporting to extra murals and bringing back home.
• Friday babysitting ONE Friday per month.
• The mother travels for work three nights per month and will require you to sleep in on these days – general childcare, bath and bedtime assistance, feeding and assisting with anything childcare related
• Start date: January 2024 start – permanent contract
• Live In Nights: The mother will travel to Eastern Cape and Garden route roughly 3 nights out of the month. The candidate will be required to sleep over on these days where she will need to get the children to bed by 20h00 AND get the children ready for school and transporting to school in the morning between 06h00 – 08h00.
• Salary: R13 000 per month plus petrol.

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
