Au Pair | Tokai | R16 000 - R18 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 13:00 – 19:00 and Saturday 08:00 – 12:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their 2 children
• Area: Tokai
• Children's Ages: 5 year old - Girl, 2 year old - Boy, baby 3 due March 2027
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 13:00 – 19:00 and Saturday 08:00 – 12:00
• School Holiday Hours: Same as above / Slightly Flexible
• Duties: Take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, bathing your children, prepare meals for your children, prepare dinner for your family, occasional babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement)
• Special Requirements: Female, 21 years or older, with 3+ years of Au Pair experience and a strong, senior-level childcare background. A university qualification, teaching or tutoring qualification would be highly advantageous, as well as First Aid certification. The family is looking for someone confident, capable, energetic and creative, who takes initiative, thinks outside the box and can work independently without requiring much hand-holding.
• The ideal candidate should enjoy the outdoors and be comfortable encouraging creative, educational and messy play, as well as planning engaging activities that support the children’s development. She should be comfortable in a busy household, have good cooking skills and be a fluent English speaker.
• Additional languages would be a wonderful advantage, particularly if the candidate could introduce these to the children. International experience, travel or an international connection would also be highly advantageous, as the family values broad-mindedness, cultural awareness and someone who is like-minded.
• The family has recently relocated back to South Africa after spending 19 years in the UK and is looking for an experienced Au Pair who can become a confident, trusted and well-integrated part of the family. Someone comfortable with cats as the family has 2 fur babies.
• Start Date & Contract Term: ASAP - permanent
• Salary: R16 000 - R18 000pm - depending on experience (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
