Au Pair | Wynberg | R14 000 Per Month at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Wynberg
• Children’s Ages: 9 years – Boy and 13 years – Girl
• Working hours: Monday – Friday 13:30 – 18:00
• School holiday hours: Full day required – Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00
• Duties: Collect from school, take to extra murals, assist with homework, preparing lunch and snacks, age-appropriate stimulation and activities, including art and craft activities.
• Making sure they school clothes are out with extras mural bags for the following day. Ad hoc household errands such as the odd tips to the shops for groceries or things needed for the kids.
• The Au Pair will need to stay on top of the kids extra mural calendar and keep the family calendar updated. Be on top of our daughters test schedule (Grade 7) and help her with study planning.
• Plan holiday activities and play dates ahead of time. Ad hoc babysitting will be required with prior notice and paid additionally. Feeding and walking the dogs on the odd occasion and take the kids along sometimes.
• Full days are a requirement during the school holidays. If we do go away, we are happy to pay the same set monthly income but may require the Au Pair to assist with house sitting or make up some of those hours by means of overtime required from time to time or extra babysitting (prior notice will be given).
• Special Requirements: Female, someone active (play sports with kids), someone who takes initiative, someone who is flexible and is willing to go the extra mile as we are too, and can be fun but also holds good boundaries. Studying teaching is beneficial
• Start Date and contract term: Mid April – permanent
• Salary: R12 000 – R15 000pm - Depending on experience (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
