Carry out repairs, services and maintenance in the workshop and on customer sites.
Remove and install components in the workshop and on customer sites.
Ensure safe work practice.
Maintain professional image when representing the company in the workshop and on customer sites.
Quickly and efficiently deal with all customer requirements and job cards on starter- and alternator overhauls, auto electrical trouble shooting and wiring.
Using diagnostic scan tools for fault finding.
Compile accurate reports on fault finding analysis and inspections.
Effective self-management and performance ownership.
Housekeeping.
This position is workshop based but also include call outs for breakdowns at customer sites.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as Automotive Electrician post apprenticeship.
Trade Test qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Auto Electrician)
Experienced trouble shooting and problem-solving skills on commercial vehicles, as well as busses, trucks, forklifts etc..
Well imbedded auto electrical specific technical knowledge and skills.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
Good technical report writing skills.
Willing to work after hours as and when required.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to communicate fluently in Afrikaans and English.
