Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant equipment
• Install, service, and maintain electrical wiring, lighting, charging, ignition, and electronic control systems
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to minimise equipment downtime
• Test and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, sensors, and wiring harnesses
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals accurately
• Complete job cards, maintenance records, and inspection reports in line with safety standards
• Liaise with the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and safety

Requirements:

• Qualified Auto Electrician with a recognised trade certificate
• 3–5 years' experience working on vehicles, yellow metal, and heavy plant
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and electrical testing tools
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams

• Electrical testing and diagnostic tools
• Electrical schematics and technical manuals
