Relevant Degree (NQF Level 6 Qualification), Information Technology university degree (or equivalent) would be preferred.
Experience
least 5-10 years technical engineering experience in solving complex business problem statements within the financial services industry.
Must have a minimum of 3+ years development experience and knowledge with a combination of MSSQL, MYSQL and other database types, as well as MS.NET, Python, JavaScript, Java, Object Oriented Design, PL/SQL Forms (incl. modules, triggers, functions, procedures, queries) and reports.
Must have experience in MS AZURE/AWS cloud computing and service enablement, robotics process automation, digitisation and indexing, workflow and case management automation (incl. service integrations) as well as artificial intelligence technologies.
At least 3 years experience in managing and directing teams, either directly allocated or indirectly to achieve desired business outcomes.
Experience in business transformation, business consulting, business process management and re-engineering. Must have experience in working in an Agile ways of work environment.
Key Performance areas
High level of technical competence i.e. understands systems and technology in the context of enabling a business process.
Good understanding of the retirement fund, retail, investments and shared services operations environments would be advantageous.
