AWS DevOps Engineer

They are currently looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to take responsibility for providing functional AWS DevOps support to execute and automate operational processes quickly, accurately and securely.

You will be expected to act as AWS Cloud developer, facilitator and evangelist, working with all various members of the BI, Architecture, Networks, Cloud and Infrastructure teams as well as key business stakeholders. You need to be passionate about maintaining and developing Cloud-based solutions and processes to improve ways of working and utilisation of technology. To apply for this role, you need to have a relevant degree coupled with 3 - 5 years’ experience in software engineering focussing on serverless applications. It’s essential that you have an “AWS Certified Developer – Associate” certification.

You must have proven experience of core AWS services and features, including:

• AWS Lambda
• Amazon Athena
• AWS Step Function
• DynamoDB
• Amazon Cognito
• S3 Buckets
• Amazon API Gateway
• CloudWatch
• Redshift
• Amazon RDS
• IAM
• KMS

It will be advantageous if you have:

• An “AWS DevOps Engineer – Professional” or “AWS SysOps Administrator – Associate” certification
• Understanding of Retail Services
• Knowledge of SAP and BW / Business Intelligence systems
