• Are you a seasoned Java Backend Developer looking to work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, Agile-driven environment? We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team on a 12-month contract basis, delivering enterprise-scale solutions at the heart of the financial services industry.

What Youll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Integrating with complex systems using RESTful services, JMS/MQ, and enterprise databases.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and robust solutions.
• Participating in code reviews, DevOps processes, and Agile ceremonies.
• Monitoring application health using Dynatrace, Kibana, and other observability tools.

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of solid Java backend development experience.

Hands-on expertise in:

• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
• REST API and Microservices architecture
• Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Jenkins, Maven, Git, and CI/CD
• JUnit, TestNG, Postman, and Selenium
• Exposure to Linux/Unix, application servers (JBoss, Tomcat), and monitoring tools like Dynatrace.
• Agile (Scrum) experience, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of React, Angular, or other front-end frameworks.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere, WebLogic, or Glassfish.
• Background in performance testing using JMeter.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
