Reconcile bank control accounts, process journals, and resolve discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Administer petty cash processes by verifying supporting documentation, processing journals, and managing vendor-related transactions.
Perform cash absorption reconciliations and process the necessary financial journals.
Liaise with branches and banking institutions to investigate and resolve financial queries.
Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
Provide efficient administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of branch financial processes.
Requirements
Qualifications and experience: National Senior Certificate with Accounting as a subject. Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a financial or accounting environment. Sound understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and journal processing. Experience working with financial systems and banking processes will be advantageous.
