Barista - Healthwise at Tsebo Solution

• We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and service-orientated Barista to join our hospitality team at a rehabilitation facility. This role plays an important part in creating a calm, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality beverage service while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and discretion at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages to high standards
• Provide warm, respectful, and professional customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and service areas
• Operate coffee equipment safely and correctly
• Monitor stock levels and assist with basic inventory control
• Handle cash or point-of-sale transactions where applicable
• Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and facility protocols
• Support a calm, respectful environment aligned to the facility’s values

Skills and Competencies    

• Previous barista or café experience (advantageous)
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service
• Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, compassionate approach
• Professional, discreet, and respectful manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Willingness to comply with healthcare and rehabilitation facility standards

Qualifications    

• Be 18 years of age
• Must have completed at least a matric / senior certificate
