Providing exceptional customer service and driving revenue through the promotion of watersports activities.
Supervise and coordinate all watersports activities, including but not limited to kayaking, paddleboarding, barge cruises and kayaing
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in safe working condition.
Manage, further develop and implement standard operating procedures for watersports operations.
Manage inventory and equipment procurement as needed through the groups prescribed stock take software system
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of Guests and Staff.
Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Provide training and certification for Staff in water safety and emergency procedures.
Interact with Guests to provide information about watersports activities and assist them in selecting appropriate options.
Recruit, train, and supervise watersports instructors, guides, and support Staff. Schedule Staff effectively to meet operational needs and maintain appropriate Staffing levels. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Staff to foster their professional development.

Position Requirements:
Matric or Grade 12 (Compulsory) including Child minding (Advantage)
Valid Driver’s Licence
Experience in Theme Park, Cruise Liner, Children’s camps, Hotels and Resorts entertainment – leading kids and family games and activities
Experience leading and motivating a team
Computer literacy and Audio visual expertise
Familiar with Health, Safety, Security including First Aid
High energy levels with a passion for working with the public & particularly children
Experience working within a multi-cultural environment and multi genders
Prepared to work outside of normal office hours including working on public holidays, weekends and during high season periods
