    Timeshare & Financial controller - Port Shepstone

    This role entails the efficient business administration of resort properties with the following 2 key focus points:

    1. Property information is captured, administered, and always maintained accurately to ensure optimal guest experience through all stages of their interaction with that, or any, property in our offerings.
    2. Administering financial, reporting, and statistical elements of a collection of properties to ensure best business performance as well as optimal guest experience. 

    Key Performance Areas:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Timeshare inventory control
    • Processing of levy payments 

    Requirements:

    • Matric
    • Confident & professional communicator
    • Critical thinker with high attention to detail and accuracy
    • Minimum 2 Years client / stakeholder liaison experience (advantageous)
    • Computer literacy (proficient in MS Word and Excel)

    Resort Fun Fanatic Team Leader – Dikhololo Resort

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Organise and lead weekly meetings for the entertainment department and service providers.
    • Manage entertainment staff schedules, department operations and budget.
    • Procure equipment and ensure quality control of facilities and performances.
    • Present operational updates in resort meetings and assist with innovative concepts.
    • Handle guest queries, promotions, events and maintain communication equipment.
    • Conduct stock takes, handle complaints, maintain standards and ensure excellent customer service.
    • Promote resort facilities, collect guest feedback and represent the brand in various settings.
    • Organise guided hikes, adventure sports, entertainment events and develop new programs. 

    Position Requirements:

    Lifeguard – Dikhololo Resort - Brits

    Key Performance Areas:

    • We require a Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests utilizing any of our swimming pools or water themed facilities.
    • This to be achieved through being attentive & observant at all times, by minimizing or eliminating hazardous situations or behaviours and by affecting rescues and the application of resuscitation and first aid as appropriate.
    • Lifeguards must be able to enforce pool policies and discipline within the aforementioned areas.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with our guests.
    • To ensure success you need to assess situations swiftly and make judicious decisions regarding the safety of swimmers. 

    Position Requirements:

    • Previous Lifeguarding experience with relevant certification essential
    • Ability to deal with guests in a professional and courteous manner
    • Proficiency in swimming and rescue techniques
    • Constantly monitor activities in swimming areas to prevent accidents
    • Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent unsafe behaviours
    • Conduct regular checks of the area for hazards or unsafe conditions 

    Person Requirements:

    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication skills
    • Prepared to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
    • Live nearby the resort as no accommodation is provided 

    Qualifications:

    • Certification in lifeguard training from a recognised body (eg. Lifeguard S.A.)

    4 Months Contract Receptionist – Umhlanga Cabanas

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Ensuring that guests receive the best possible reception and assistance both on arrival, during their stay & upon departure. Ensuring that all Front Office procedures are followed & systems maintained and managed in accordance with set standards policies & procedures.
    •  Duties range from telephone, office administration, reservations, guest related queries, stock/asset control, data capturing and handling of money. Assisting guests with queries and complaints, ensuring that same are resolved to their full satisfaction. Facilitating excellent communication with guests, other departments as well as colleagues.     Beach Club Activity Manager – Cayley Resort

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Providing exceptional customer service and driving revenue through the promotion of watersports activities.
    • Supervise and coordinate all watersports activities, including but not limited to kayaking, paddleboarding, barge cruises and kayaing
    • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in safe working condition.
    • Manage, further develop and implement standard operating procedures for watersports operations.
    • Manage inventory and equipment procurement as needed through the groups prescribed stock take software system
    • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of Guests and Staff.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Provide training and certification for Staff in water safety and emergency procedures.
    • Interact with Guests to provide information about watersports activities and assist them in selecting appropriate options.
    • Recruit, train, and supervise watersports instructors, guides, and support Staff. Schedule Staff effectively to meet operational needs and maintain appropriate Staffing levels. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to Staff to foster their professional development.
    • Develop marketing strategies to promote watersports activities and attract new customers.

    Housekeeper – Illovo Beach Club

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for the standard of housekeeping as set by the Group. Supervising and allocating staff duties and staff administration for housekeeping.
