    Software Support Analyst - Cape Town

    Responsibilities include:

    • Develop a deep understanding of both the functional and technical aspects of the Property Management X product suite
    • Thoroughly test client issues to recreate and assist in determining root cause
    • Using MRI support tool, track and resolve client issues in a timely manner following appropriate Support procedures
    • Actively monitor issues to ensure they are resolved within clients’ Service Level Agreements
    • Attend client status meetings to review open issues
    • Effectively and proactively manage client expectations
    • Foster positive relationships with clients to ensure client retention
    • Clearly document issue resolutions and confirm client understanding for closure of support cases
    • Perform and participate in on-going system training and knowledge transfer with internal personnel across departments
    • Actively participate in Transition to Support meetings to ensure successful knowledge transfer from implementation to support
    • Log, test, track, coordinate deployment activities, and perform system testing as needed to achieve a successful upgrade
    • Approach all circumstances and interactions in a professional manner
    • Adhere to all internal policies and procedures as required by the Information Security Management Team

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in researching and resolving client issues (2 years +)
    • Software testing and troubleshooting experience
    • Flexibility and passion for delivering outstanding service
    • Interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to work across departmental boundaries
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent analytical skills

    Software Consultant - Cape Town

    • As an MRI Solution Consultant in Affordable Housing, you’ll never get bored with doing the same thing every day. You’ll be constantly challenged with new opportunities and new assignments. But some of the typical tasks include: 
    • Manage all aspects of client implementations including client assessment, data collection, data conversion, set-up, internet-based training, resolution of initial technical issues, and effective hand-off to the Support team. 
    • Manage completion and timely delivery of all items within a client contract and ensure client satisfaction and expectations. 
    • Coordinate and perform in-house testing of software data conversions. 
    • Collaborate with Product Development for new product development and existing product improvements, if requested. 
    • Collaborate with Department Manager, as appropriate, to create and maintain training documentation, presentations, videos, product guides and online help system maintenance.

    Software Engineer - Cape Town

    Responsibilities

    • Develop software features in a self-sufficient way and to a high technical standard
    • Understanding the system architecture and technical goals of the product
    • Follow the development process (source control, branching, testing, etc.) without assistance
    • Actively troubleshoot issues and assist with complex support queries that require further analysis
    • Taking part in team rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives
    • Taking part in team activities such as collaborative development and code reviews

    Essential Criteria

    • Demonstrable experience in JavaScript (Native / Typescript / JQuery)
    • Demonstrable experience in NX/Angular or similar technologies.
    • Demonstrable experience in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)

    Director of Professional Services - Cape Town

    Responsibilities:  

    • Local Services oversight, leadership, and people management of Manager direct reports, and approximately 50 employees as part of the SA Services Global Delivery Center  
    • Engaging with various Business leaders locally and globally (NA, EMEA, and APAC) to help build and support the SA Services team, with a focus on culture and community, people management, and delivery excellence; 
    • Drive global integration and standardization in the SA region. Work with Professional Services Department Leadership to build a better global infrastructure built for scale through adoption of policies, standard operating procedures, and training/cross-training for SA Services teams; 
    • Working with global and local leadership to ensure commonality of approach as well as working with regional and global leadership for resource management and development; 
    • Contribute vision and leadership consistent with the MRI’s Services strategic plans and objectives to deliver technology initiatives in support of the growth of the organization; 
    • Optimizing solutions to improve performance, productivity, or reduce costs within or across the Services Departments; and 
    • Be the Professional Services representative for unique challenges and needs of the SA region within the broader Services leadership structure. 

    Knowledge and Skills: 

    • 5+ year experience within a Business Management or related field  
    • 5+ year experience managing a global team or other relevant leadership experience

    Content Creator/ Training Developer - Cape Town

    • This position is responsible for defining, developing, and coordinating MRI Software training content and related tasks for internal and external product training for MRI clients and employees.  This position will require working with other departments to gather information to create and update training content (eLearning, manuals, training videos, and workbooks).
    • Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts throughout the organization including at Project Lead meetings.
    • Develop, design, and coordinate a comprehensive training program that includes web-based learning and instructor-led courses.
    • Compose scripts/storyboards to follow capture processes/workflows.
    • Develops engaging e-learning content, consistent with brand and with existing library of content.
    • Iterates content during development, collecting and incorporating feedback from key stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain project plans to support the training execution.
    • Assess metrics and measure effectiveness to support the evolution of the training programs.
    • Work with Management in analyzing the training needs of clients.
    • Coordinate with Product Management regarding new and updated products to ensure appropriate training for clients.
    • Stay up to date on new training methods.

    REQUIREMENTS:  

    • Instructional design and development experience in software industry
    • Experience with rapid eLearning tools such as Articulate, and/or Camtasia
    • Experience with Skilljar or other learning management systems a plus
    • Strong organizational, planning, project management, communications, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
    • Previous training experience including instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies highly desirable
    • Able to manage multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines
    • Expert in multi-tasking, organizing, and prioritizing is critical
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent follow-up skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent training in a business or software environment
