Datacentrix KwaZulu Natal is looking for a Bid Manager to manage customer tender responses and coordinates company bids. Create solutions and develop strategies while complying with customer tender requirements in order to achieve the ultimate goal of securing winning bids. Work at the executive-level within sales teams, and work closely with executives such as managing directors, sales managers and account managers. Ability to work across a number of industry sectors.
The Bid Manager is primarily responsible for managing and facilitating the bid management process.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire bid process from initiation to conclusion.
Conduct bid/no-bid analysis to determine the viability of pursuing specific opportunities.
Develop and maintain the bid plan, ensuring that deadlines are met.
Coordinating the inputs and contributions from cross-functional teams, which include technical, sales, marketing, finance, legal and operations.
Develop and edit a bid to ensure there is consistency, accuracy, and compliance with the client requirements and Datacentrix standards.
Ensure that costing models are compliant with the respective bid requirement, accurate and repeatable.
Liaise with clients to clarify the requirements needed throughout the bidding process.
Assess and mitigate the risks associated with the bid.
Produce a persuasive and compelling bid submission focused on compliance, accuracy, and professionalism.
Develop compelling, customer-focused proposals to win new business.
