CAD Detailer / BIM Modeller - BridgesAECOM South Africa is looking for  CAD detailers and BIM Modellers for the delivery of diverse local and international bridge projects. Key responsibilities would be the preparation and management of bridge drawings using CAD or Revit.Job Summary:Preparation and management drawings for bridges, culverts and other road related structuresPreparation and management of reinforcement detailing and bending schedules3D Revit modelling of bridges and culverts based on road and rail alignment modelsBuilding Information Modelling (BIM)Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all workKnowledge of SANS, TMH7 and other relevant standards will be a benefit

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of five years’ experience in the drawing and modelling of bridges, culverts and other road related structuresProficiency in AutoCad, Revit, or Civil 3DProficiency in rebar detailing software (CADS RC or similar) will be a benefitGood knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments drawing procedures will be a benefitExperience of SOFiSTiK Bridge Modeler will be a benefitExperience of modelling reinforcement in 3D will be a benefit PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Diploma or Degree in Civil EngineeringHigh Revit competency and specialist 3D modelling of bridges will be a benefitProfessional Registration will be a benefit
